About
What LibreSpeed does
LibreSpeed is a self-hosted internet speed test that measures download/upload, ping, and jitter with no tracking. It offers multiple test sizes, optional result history with a backend, and a clean UI—useful for private network benchmarking and ISP troubleshooting.

How to self-host LibreSpeed
LibreSpeed can be deployed with standard Docker Compose using the Yantr app catalog. This page collects the basic information searchers usually need first: what LibreSpeed does, which Docker image Yantr uses, default ports, deployment notes, and where to find the original compose template.
After deployment, Yantr lets you publish additional ports from the stack page using Docker-style syntax. Use 8080:8080 for a fixed host port or just 8080 to let Docker assign a random port.
Use Cases
What people run it for
- Test your home internet connection speed privately.
- Monitor network performance over time with regular tests.
- Test speed between different network locations.
- Share a private speed test with your ISP for troubleshooting.
